Deborah Kinard Holmes, 71, of 113 Carolyn Drive, former wife of Alpha Omega Holmes, entered into eternal rest on January 23, 2026, at Self Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Greenwood County on June 26, 1954, a daughter of the late Calvin Kinard, Jr. and Mary Alice Boozer Kinard.
She retired from Tyco/ Professional Medical Products after many years of service.
She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
Surviving are: two sons, Alpha Omega Holmes, II, of Greenwood, and Calvin E. Holmes of Hodges; one daughter, Courtney Turner, of the home; a sister, Linda Jean Kinard, of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Janajhia M. Turner, of Swanee, GA, and Ashanti I. Turner, of the home; one great grandchild, Azani M. Lee, of Swanee, GA; five aunts, Ruby Barnes and Janie Hill of Greenwood, Lousie Self of Bowie, Maryland, Iola Crawford and Viola Cannon of (Rev. Clyde) of Hodges; one special nephew, Kimare O. Starks, of the home; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at Noon on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Rivers, Pastor, presiding and Rev. Jerry Brown officiating.
Mrs. Holmes will lie in state from 11:00 am until Noon on Friday at the Church.
Public viewing will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
The family is at the home, 113 Carolyn Drive, Bradley, SC.
